Del West maintains research, design, and manufacturing facilities in the United States and in Switzerland.  Our technical staff continues to push the outer limits of development in materials, coatings, design concepts, and manufacturing dimensional control.  This is done in our material laboratories, in our engine testing rooms, and in our manufacturing areas. 

In racing, our lightweight valve train components and pneumatic valve control systems are the key to sustained engine speeds in excess of 18,000 RPM and provide engine designers with greater latitude in balancing the requirement for peak torque and a broad torque curve. 

In series production, our expertise in the design and manufacture of precision, lightweight components offers the same design flexibility, with benefits for both performance and pollution management.  This expertise, coupled with our materials and coatings research, has opened up new avenues for engine designers to explore as tomorrow engines are developed.
